Discovered in Pike County in 1997 this is the first wild caught albino timber rattlesnake ever exhibited in Georgia. A local resident observed him for three years before contacting the Georgia Dept of Natural Resources. The snake was housed at the University of Georgia before arriving at Zoo Atlanta in 2009.

Greenland's Jakobshavn Isbræ glacier has retreated dramatically in recent years, adding freshwater to the ocean and contributing to global sea-level rise.
